II Web Industry Awards Ceremony

On December 7, 2019, Moscow hosted the second Russian web industry awards ceremony, organized by The Digital Reporter. 'Omar in the Big City' won best web series, 'Storm' by Boris Khlebnikov took best internet series, Ksenia Sobchak was named Online Personality of the Year, Leonid Parfenov’s 'Parfenon' won best educational project, Nikolai Solodnikov was Interviewer of the Year, and Yuri Dud’s 'Kolyma - Birthplace of Our Fear' was Documentary Project of the Year. Special prizes went to Timur Bekmambetov for supporting the web industry and Petr Buslov for 'House Arrest,' the first successful online platform series.
